Franco Mento
composer, producer and live performer
Franco Mento is a Swiss composer, producer and live performer who has been active in electronic music and the performing arts for over twenty years.
His work combines electronic composition, live performance, improvisation and the development of new approaches to playing electronic instruments.
For more than a decade, he has collaborated with the German company CocoonDance. In 2025, he composed the original music for Le Terroir, a creation by Spanish choreographer Lorena Nogal, presented at the Festival de Perelada.
His first ADsonare project was released in 2015 and included a remix by Kangding Ray.

ADSONARE 2 is Franco Mento’s new solo live performance, continuing the project first initiated with ADsonare in 2015.
A more direct and physical approach to electronic music, built around groove, sonic depth and a strong focus on distinctive textures.
The music is performed in real time through a system of electronic instruments developed for live performance. Visuals are an integral part of the work, evolving in close connection with the music.
